Bargate hosts annual Strategy Day at St Mary’s Stadium

This month, the Bargate team came together at St Mary’s Stadium for our annual Strategy Day. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the progress made across the business over the past year, share updates from each department, and look ahead to the next phase of growth.

The day brought together colleagues from across the business to discuss recent achievements, live developments and future ambitions, while reinforcing the strong team culture and shared ambition that continues to define the Bargate family.

Over the past 12 months, Bargate has celebrated many significant milestones. These include the launch of Shepherd’s Green in Hordle as our 100th development, the retention of our five-star Home Builders Federation (HBF) customer satisfaction rating, a 2026 Gold Award from In-House Research, a Premier Guarantee ‘Development of the Year’ award for our Heritage Place scheme and, most recently, recognition amongst the Solent region’s top-performing private businesses.

Following the presentations, teams took part in a series of activities and challenges in the stadium’s Level 1 gaming arena, with golf, darts and clay pigeon shooting proving particularly competitive.

Mark White, Managing Director, said: “Despite a tough market, we’ve delivered 229 homes – 102 of which were for private sale and 127 delivered to VIVID across a variety of tenures. We’ve also achieved another award-winning customer satisfaction result of an incredible 98%, alongside a second successive five-star builder award from the HBF.

“What’s more, with live planning applications representing a gross development value of around £550 million, we’re in a strong position. This Strategy Day was the perfect opportunity to celebrate how far we’ve come, recognise the collective effort behind that success, and set our sights firmly on what’s next.
