What new build homes are available in Hampshire?

We currently have four active developments in Hampshire: Heritage Place in Eastleigh, Admirals Green in Warsash and our New Forest developments, Shepherds Green in Hordle and Horizon Wood in Pennington.

Where else do Bargate have new build developments?

Next year, we will be launching a brand-new development in the coastal village of Pagham, East Sussex. Due to open in summer 2027, this sees us extending East of Hampshire and into a new area.

What makes Bargate different from other property developers in Hampshire?

We believe in being better, not bigger. That’s why each of our new build developments is tailored with care, giving each development its own unique character to create a sense of place.

Do Bargate offer shared ownership properties?

We do not offer shared ownership properties; however, we partner with local housing association Vivid, who facilitate shared ownership opportunities on some of our developments. Visit their website to discover more.

How long does it take to buy a new build property in Hampshire?

Typically, for a completed development, the house buying process is around 2 to 6 months, depending on if you’re selling a home first. If the development is still under construction, you’ll be looking anywhere between 6 and 10 months. Our friendly sales team will be able to give you a more accurate estimate for specific homes or developments.

Are Bargate involved in Berewood, the new village being built in Waterlooville?

Yes, we’re proud to work alongside Grainger PLC (the largest listed residential landlord) on providing 62 mixed-tenure homes in Berewood Garden Village in Waterlooville.
