This information is stored within our customer relationship management system.

If you decide to unsubscribe your details will go into an archived list and are no longer contacted.

If you’ve made a purchase from us, upon moving in to your home, your information is deactivated and archived.

We collect this information through forms on our website or contact from you, via phone calls, emails or face to face at our marketing suites.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH AND WHY

Your data may be shared with InHouse research which is a third party supplier we use to carry out move-in surveys on our behalf.

 

Working at Bargate

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOLD

We may collect the following information during your employment:

  • your name, contact details and date of birth
  • emergency contacts name, relationship and contact details
  • a copy of your driving license or passport
  • your immigration status and information from related documents
  • a photograph of you
  • your CV, application form and other information collected during the recruitment process
  • your salary and benefits information, including your bank details, national insurance number and tax information
  • information in your sickness and absence records (including sensitive personal information regarding your physical and/or mental health, doctor’s notes and occupational health reports)
  • employee records including grievances, conduct, disciplinary issues, training and performance management
  • information in applications you make for other positions within Bargate Homes, or in relation to succession planning and promotion

CCTV

We have CCTV on our developments.

The purpose of these cameras is to detect, prevent and reduce the incidence of crime, protect our properties and assets and for the safety of our staff. We manage the camera equipment, images and footages to ensure that we are compliant with data protection laws.

CCTV is only viewed by staff when necessary, the footage is stored for a specific period, after which it is recorded over. We may share CCTV with the police to prevent and detect a crime. We may also share CCTV for evidence in an insurance claim or court case.

How long do we keep your data?

We will try to regularly check your information to make sure it is still up to date. If you think we need to update any of the information we hold, please let us know.

We will keep your information for as long as it is relevant to the purposes set out above and in line with our relevant retention period. We may therefore continue to hold information about you after you leave your home or no longer receive services from us, where this is still relevant. We may also be required to keep your information for legal reasons.
