We are pleased to announce that we are extending our support for grassroots football by sponsoring the Stoneham Lionesses Under 8s for the 2026/27 season.
The new partnership will see Bargate provide the girls’ team with a complete set of home and away kits featuring the Bargate logo.
Andrew French, Sales & Marketing Director, said: “We’re really pleased to be expanding our support at AFC Stoneham and, for the first time, sponsoring one of the club’s girls’ teams. Heritage Place is just moments from the club and, as we near completion there, it’s great to be continuing our involvement in the local community and helping young people enjoy sport right on our doorstep.”
Mark Wartnaby, coach of Stoneham Lionesses U8s, added: “The girls are really excited for the season ahead and will be incredibly proud to wear their new Bargate kits. We’re very grateful for the support.”
The sponsorship expands our relationship with AFC Stoneham, the largest grassroots football club in the South of England and one of the region’s most active community clubs. Bargate already sponsors the Stoneham Pumas and Stoneham United youth teams.
The Lionesses sponsorship forms part of our growing support for sport across Hampshire. Just a few weeks ago, we became Official Chapel Stand Partner of Southampton Football Club, while continuing as the club’s Official New Homes Partner. Bargate also partners with Hampshire Cricket and Utilita Bowl, and sponsors Lymington Cricket Club, extending our involvement in sport and local communities across the region.
