Six eye-catching buildings will find out tomorrow which has reached architectural excellence in the Riba Stirling Prize. This prestigious prize looks at design vision; innovation and originality; capacity to stimulate, engage and delight occupants and visitors; accessibility and sustainability; how fit the building is for its purpose and the level of client satisfaction. Here are the six shortlisted buildings and good luck to all of them for tomorrow’s announcement https://www.architecture.com/StirlingPrize/RIBAStirlingPrize2015.aspx For us though our favourite is Maggies Cancer Caring Centre in Lanarkshire, Scotland – a £1.8m low-impact building in serene surroundings designed by Reiach and Hall Architects.
