Not only did this picturesque development of 55 homes sell out quickly and largely off-plan. But it was most unusually singled-out for praise from the Planning Authorities for its design, deemed an “exemplar scheme”, it was yet another one of our developments feted for demonstrating the beauty and creative potential in new build design. A hallmark of our approach.
Unlike other new build schemes in Overton, the development is spacious, with generous gardens and a network of green areas connecting with the rural backdrop. Footway and cycle paths forge connections between this new community and the existing one – emphasising the enhancement of the wider setting – and giving buyers the space they yearn for.
“The development is beautiful. The home is finished really nicely with loads of space around the houses.” Seven Acres purchaser
The homes themselves are inspired by the features of the mix of cottages within the village: gothic arches, steep pitched porches, chimneys and projecting bay and sash windows. With leaded light windows, stone surround windows and varying roof tiles – painstaking attention to detail adding to the sense of individuality of the homes.
Proud of our claim of ‘building new homes for those who don’t like new homes’, we look forward to launching our milestone 75th scheme, with the ringing endorsement of one of our Seven Acres buyers:
“We loved the character, the features of the buildings, like the porch and the brickwork. Typically, I think new builds don’t have a lot of character. That’s why I didn’t want one. When we saw this home, we were amazed!”
