Bargate’s 75^th development, Bishop’s Meadow is a delightful scheme located in Bishops Waltham, not only has it been a fantastic achievement for Bargate but myself and the rest of my team.

We started off in the centre of the village in October 2020, surrounded by friendly locals who often popped in to say hello. As we were just a stone’s throw from the development, we were able to take prospective purchasers for site viewings to select their chosen home. This resulted in several off-plan reservations prior to the official launch of our stunning show home in April 2021.

This embarked a new part of the journey, relocating to Bishop’s Meadow itself I was based overlooking the incredible open space. This resulted in further reservations as buyers were able to get a feel for the spacious development and view our impressive show home.

A year later with just one available home remaining, a large percentage of reservations taken off plan and purchasers reserving homes a year in advance this really has been a remarkable development which I have been delighted to be a part of.

The wonderful thing for me as a sales advisor is the rapport we build with our purchasers, especially when they are involved so early in the build process, we share in the excitement of their new home to be.

As the main point of contact throughout the whole process, we get the privilege to welcome these customers into the Bargate family. From reserving, purchasers get weekly updates including photographs which helps them understand the various stages of the build. We conduct a final visit prior to the home being build complete which is when they see all their choices in person – one of the many special parts of their journey.

It’s lovely to see the smiles on their faces when they reach each milestone in the process, but for me, the most rewarding part of the journey is when I proudly hand over the keys to their brand-new Bargate home. The personal touch continues to the day they move in when they are gifted a personalised hamper and we walk through their new home together.
